SIRA Allied Health Practitioner Introductory Training Program

The SIRA Allied Health Practitioner Introductory Training Program is a Self-Paced online program, delivered by PIEF on behalf of SIRA.

The training program focuses on the role and expectations of allied health practitioners providing treatment services in either the NSW workers compensation scheme, or the motor accident scheme, or both.

The training program covers off:

  • allied health practitioner requirements
  • SIRA and the NSW personal injury schemes
  • principles for treating injured people
  • Clinical Framework For the Delivery of Health Services
  • value-based health care
  • metrics for monitoring and reporting healthcare outcomes and costs.

SIRA provides education and training for allied health professionals, insurers, legal and medical professionals. The training requirements differ depending on which scheme you're working in.
