Description
The SIRA Allied Health Practitioner Introductory Training Program – Learning and Assessment is a 3 part course which focuses on the role and expectations of allied health practitioners planning to work in the NSW workers compensation or motor accident schemes.
The completion of this program is a mandatory requirement prior to obtaining your approval number for treating people with a claim in the NSW workers compensation scheme.
Before delivering services in the NSW workers compensation scheme, all Physiotherapists, Accredited Exercise Physiologists, Chiropractors, Osteopaths, Psychologists and Counsellors must:
- complete the SIRA Allied Health Practitioner Introductory Training Program – Learning and Assessment and pass all assessments. In the event you don’t pass all three assessments please contact the Help Desk Support Team (details below)
- apply for and receive confirmation of your SIRA workers compensation treating allied health practitioner approval application.
Once you have successfully completed your learning and passed all assessments, your learning will be marked off as completed in the SIRA Allied Health Practitioner Learning Portal. You can download a Certificate of Completion from the SIRA Allied Health Practitioner Learning Portal. This certificate will be used as evidence to support your application process with SIRA.
