Description
This course outlines the important role you have as an allied health practitioner working in the NSW Workers Compensation Scheme, or the NSW Compulsory Third Party (CTP) Scheme. You will be engaged to provide specialised expertise to assess a person with an injury’s capacity/fitness, identify any barriers to recovery, and to provide evidence based treatment with a focus on recovering through work.
Throughout this course, you will learn more about delivering and providing services with the person with an injury’s support team, assessing and certifying capacity/fitness (if within your scope of practice) and applying a model of care for the management of low back pain. This course also includes a dedicated module for psychologists and counsellors covering primary psychological injuries.
If you have any questions or concerns whilst completing this program, please contact the Help Desk Support Team on ahp_pief@pief.com.au or (03) 9940 4893 - option 1.
